Soft Cybernetics for Social Agency
My journey into assistive technology is personal. Growing up with a neurodivergent sibling who struggled with speech, I saw firsthand that existing AAC solutions weren't always a viable option. The standard "tablet-on-a-table" approach felt robotic and slow, leading individuals to rely on masking rather than adopting tools that stripped away their humanity.
We are moving beyond the 2D interface to build **Soft Cybernetics**—wearable audio systems designed for **embodiment**.
Our technology solves the fundamental conflict between communication speed and social presence.
Separates private thought rehearsal (Inner Voice) from public speech output (Chest Pod).
Utilizes subtle neural/EMG gestures (Mudra Band) to select words and trigger speech with near-zero latency.
Integrates with clear-lens waveguide glasses (Rokid) for discrete, peripheral visual feedback, ensuring eye contact is never broken.
